Steve Jobs aside, there always seems to be a need for some form of sneakernet
data transmission. I suspect this will persist even when wireless and IR
become more prevalent.

ZIPs seem to be on the downslope. People seem to be using CD/RW and DVD/RW more
and more. There may also be some USB devices in the pipeline, both disk and
solid state memory (like the Sony memory stick). I can't imagine making the
effort to interface colorForth to the CardBus (where there are things like a 5
GB hard drive on a PC card $$$).
