Bochs 2.0 does not work out of the box with colorForth. You will have to 
recompile with patches/patch.floppy-athiel from the source tree applied. 
(This implements non-DMA transfer for the FDC. It did not make it into the 
main source code before the feature freeze.)

Then you need the colorForth version with 8bit colors available from 
www.oakland.edu/~maslicke/colorforth/vesa-chuck-8bit.tgz

I can provide a bootable image (this is a good idea, actually!), but I am away 
from my e-mail for the next couple of days. I'll post it in january, then.
