I always like to see code in fixed-width. However, almost all colorForth words
are a single line -- and if they aren't they would be in variable width :)
I think for this, I'd prefer the variable width font. Just my 2c, though.

I like them too, but I have to admit that fixed-width fonts have a
certain advantage over variable-width fonts: predictability and
simplicity. So it depends on what application you intend on using them
for.
