Ahh.
It depends on the host OS, but usually in a TCP/IP configuration setting
(in the case of Windows, one that requires RegEdit, IIRC, at least as of
Windows 98). With Linux, at least, you can set the maximum MTU via
`ifconfig', and the IP software inherits the MTU setting on an interface
when routing data through that interface.
