The channels are active most of the time, as we are spread around the globe.
I suggest you try #c4th-ot when joining for the first time.
this is the more active channel, when there is real input concerning cf the
#c4th channel should be used.

The #c4th channel is intended to be used for other forth systems as well.
We have several of them in development at the moment.
Examples of these are herkforth and XeF4th.
You're forth will also be welcome on #c4th, it should have a name to
reference it by...

We do it this way to help keep the logs clean and usefull.
I will mention the timestamp issue to herkamire. he is the one that arranges
the logging at the moment.
