thus provoking the admiration and envy of all his co-discussants
who interzap ideas about Forth chips on the "MISC" mail list not
for Reduced Instruction Set Computing, but: MINIMAL Instruction

You can tell how truly techie a computer nerd is by how bright a
gleam flashes from his eyes when you even mention "Forth chips."
Blazing speed, simple logic, dirtcheap production costs, robots!
It is no wonder, then, that the Mentifex Manifesto went out over
the MISC mail list and prompted the ingeniously clever response.
The risk of outrage was small in comparison with the great value
of exposing the Forth chip tinkerers to the Mentifex mind-model:
