That's below the retail price for an external v.34 modem.
Given that the box will have a modem, I'd suspect that either
A) it will be at most 28.8 one, or
B) it is not included in the price cited, or
C) this is not a retail price, but rather a wholesale price.
Given that to manufacture the box will cost about the same as an external
modem, I believe that the price cannot be brought down much more below
that of an external modem -- about $85 for an external v.34(bis) at NECX
as the minimum.
Well, unless Chuck has come up with a clever way to make a modem more
cheaply than Boca does, that it.
But then, iTV would be selling modems also -- or may be they are :-)
