...Too bad that it was never publicized! The whole sorry history of
FORTH chips seems plagued by a lack of decent datasheets; even the
PacSci effort (which comes close) has yet to leave me with a warm
cozy feeling when it comes to justifying a design win. The RTX is
the only one that cuts the mustard in this department, yet Novix /
RCA / GE / Harris remained elusive when it came to a lucid
description of interrupt-behaviour.
For all of the typing that gets done on webpages, why is it that
no-one seems able to get their shit together to publish a proper .PDF
datasheet??? Surely there is working silicon... and I thought the
whole philosophy was to *abolish* the preisthood -- why is it as
painful as pulling teeth, just to get the simple facts? (sorry Jeff;
you at least have been pretty up-front wrt the F21 status)

Not *yet*, I don't! If everyone wants to remain cagey about basic
design data, then this situation will never change. Chuck Moore is a
brilliant guy, but I refuse to take him on pure faith, or kiss his
ass (and he'd probably be the first person to agree with me) --
inluence: YES. Dictate: NO. If anything, FORTH is for
individualists, and anarchists.
