Mike,
Maybe your idea of a board will do fine for Jeff. What
Jeff seems to ask for is a collaboratively made board.
He won't deal with it right now. He's on vacation.
I'm going to go ahead and start anyway. Maybe I'll
only get a parts list done by the time he gets
involved again. Maybe I'll get a layout done that
everyone hates. They'll know if they love it or hate it,
because I'm going to put pictures of layout on the list for
you all to see. Even if they're partial. Even if they are
not my best work.
I was stuck on the stance that I wanted to manage time and
get the most benefit out of doing layout...like swap it for
a F21 for me to use...but I've decided now to just give it away
and see what happens. You [Mike Simon] convinced me with the give away
lot's
of infrastructure technology to set yourself up in a niche market
as the proverbial expert--like
Linus Torvalds is in the LINUX market.

Jeff in case you are listening. I put lots of stuff on my prototype
boards. I ALWAYS design so that it doesn't require lots of code
to work right the first time to do anything....
I'm not smart enough to do something that stupid.
